Benefits
Every day at Evans Lake is filled with a mixture of structured learning sessions, group recreational activities and free time. Staff lead campers in a variety of sports and field and forest games. Certified lifeguards supervise campers while swimming or boating. During free time there is something for everyone. Campers choose from a variety of activities based on their interests: swimming, archery, fire building, outdoor cooking, hiking, songs and skits, shelter-building, fishing (personal tackle required), volleyball, overnight hikes, canoeing, games, theme meals, crafts, and more.
Registration
At least ONE MONTH prior to the start date of your camp, you will receive an Orientation Package. This package will include all the information you require about what to bring, where to arrive, etc... Please ensure that you have reviewed this material thoroughly with your camper(s).
A Registration Fee will be added to the Camp Session price. This fee includes your Evans Lake membership, credit card processing and EventBrite fees associated with On Line Registration (previously bundled as the Family Membership fee).
Cancellation Policy
More than 14 days notice: Campers unable to attend a session for any reason will receive a refund, less a $35 administration/ registration fee.
Less than 14 days notice: We will attempt to refill your spot from our waiting list, and if we are successful you will receive a refund less the $35 administration/ registration fee. Otherwise no refund is available.
Medical Reason with Doctor's Certificate: Full refund or credit toward another session

Health Form
We require that you complete this form for each session, so that we can best support your camper during their stay. Emergency contacts must be someone other than parents/guardians. They must live locally, and be available for contact during the session. Diet/Allergy information must be communcicated as clearly as possible on the Health Form. Parents must also provide their Date of Birth. In the unlikely event your child is taken to the hospital, this information is required by hospital admittance.
Donations and Membership
Evans Lake is a non-profit charity and there are many ways you can help Evans Lake into the future: A donation to help another camper, contribution to an Evans Lake Fund, bequests and planned giving, donation of materials and your hard-earned time are but a few. If you are able to support Evans Lake through a monetary donation please complete the ‘Donation’ page attached. All contributions over $25.00 will receive a tax-receipt. Evans Lake also hosts many Work Party Weekends, these are great opportunities to help and experience some of what Evans Lake offers the children that attend our camps and programs.
Open House 2012
Open House 2012 will take place on Sunday, June 24, from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Centre. This is a great time to come and visit camp with the whole family. All activities will be open for participation and our summer staff will be on hand to meet you and your campers. ALL ARE WELCOME!

The Evans Lake Forest Education Society is a non-profit, charitable organization with a mandate to offer forest education programs at Evans Lake Forest Education Centre. Since 1960 Evans Lake has been a destination for campers seeking programs with a difference.
Each year Evans Lake offers a full summer camp program with sessions for campers aged 8-12, 10-14 and 13-16 years, as well as Leadership Training Camps and wilderness based Outdoor Adventure Kamps (OAK). As well, an All Ages (8-16) winter camp program during the winter break in December.
Evans Lake is located 15 kilometres North of Squamish, BC on a picturesque mountain lake. Surrounded by forest, the Centre offers a feeling of wilderness seclusion but features all basic amenities.The Centre is also open year-round and available for school field trips, family events and private bookings. Rentals include full catering and accommodation for 100+.
