The Merchant Industry: The Increasing Cost of Credit Card Processing

4/3      6:30PM – 7:30PM

In order to stay competitive, businesses of all sizes, particularly small businesses, must offer multiple payment options for their customers. While some payment options, such as credit cards, can be costly and come with complicated payment terms, there are lower cost resources available for businesses that can impact their bottom lines. Lower fees can then result in savings being passed on to customers. Being aware of the potentially high charges you can incur by merchant service providers can help you make smarter decisions that work best for your company.  Join Richard Pallay, Business Development Manager of The National Merchants Association (NMA), who will provide an overview of the industry as well as a discussion of the myths and realities of accepting credit cards by identifying maximum cost savings for long-term business success. A question and answer period will take place at the end of the presentation.
