Join Erica Beade as we explore the beauty and variety of plant forms with pencil and paper. Through close observation, we'll use drawing techniques such as contour, gesture, foreshortening, and shading to capture some of Mount Auburn's botanical treasures on paper. All skill levels are welcome. Pre-registration required; supply list will be sent in advance to participants.

Funding for programs has been provided in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Friends of Mount Auburn

The Friends of Mount Auburn Cemetery is a non-profit educational trust established to promote the appreciation and preservation of Mount Auburn's cultural, historic and natural resources.

The Friends offers walks, talks, concerts, and special events throughout the year to share the stories of history, horticulture, wildlife, art, and the lives of those buried at the Cemetery with the public.  We invite you to join us for an upcoming event to learn more about this important urban oasis and National Historic Landmark.
