Meet the Kendal Jackson Wine Maker!
Matt Smith, the Wine Maker in charge of all Bordeaux varietals at Kendal Jackson will be at the Wine & Spirit Warehouse to conduct a blending seminar and tasting of some of the finest wines to come from California. Matt, is a Michigan graduate who then traveled and studied wine making in France. Since 2006 he has been in charge of all Bordeaux Style wines, including all Cabernet based wines, Merlot based wines, and classic Bordeaux blends from the Iconic Jackson Family wines.
While the heart of their great wines is in the Alexander Valley, Matt has the led the way in bringing KJ to the forefront on great California Reds through the North Coast District. You will have an opportuntiy to blend your own wines as well as taste through many of the spectacular wines Matt has made. This will be a very special evening for those of you that what to learn more about wine making and in particular blending of the tradional Bordeaux varietals
