Saturday, May 19 10 am - 5 pm Green Gulch Yurtled by
Laura Burges In this retreat, we will explore how meditation and recovery can support and sustain our deepest intention. Meditation instruction will be provided and we will have opportunities for sitting and walking meditation. There will be a dharma talk and discussion and we will close with a 12-Step meeting. This retreat is designed for those actively engaged in a 12-Step program. A vegetarian lunch will be provided in the dining room, and is included in the fee.
Laura Burges
Laura Burges, a lay teacher in the Soto Zen tradition, lectures and leads retreats at different practice centers in Northern California. Her column "Is That So?" appears on the Zen Center's website. Laura received lay teacher entrustment from her teacher Eijun Linda Cutts in April 2009.
