Dallas and Fort Worth aren’t without their issues and challenges, but what we also have plenty of is powerful creative talent. We’re opening the Design Center doors to creatives who want to make an impact outside of work to make our communities as good as our thinking. Join us and three of Dallas’s urban leaders to collaboratively and creatively brainstorm solutions to the community issues we want and know we can tackle.

And that’s just the start. Working with GOOD Magazine and city leaders, the groups formed from our brainstorms will work together to evolve these ideas for a formal presentation on June 6. The presentations, moderated by Alissa Walker from GOOD Ideas for Cities, are just the beginning to the positive change and progress our community can pull together to make our city as awesome as our creative.

On April 13, we're getting groups together to listen to a few of our city leaders talk about particular issues that we all agree need fixing. Then, over food truck noms, attendees divide up into groups, and start brainstorming.

Joining us are:

- Office of Economic Development, City of Dallas
- Dallas Parks Foundation
- DART

After this initial meet up, each group of creatives formed then get together between now and June to collaborate and ideate. These groups will then put together a presentation for Design For Good Part 2: Public Presentation ... on June 6. This presentation to our city leaders and fellow want-to-do-GOOD-ers will be moderated by GOOD Magazine's Alissa Walker.

Come make your mark on Dallas.
