Principles of Project Management - PMP Exam Preparation | Saturdays
Successful completion of the 40 hour Principles of Project Management course will provide you with a significant advantage in today’s very competitive job market. Project management tools and techniques are presented for effective planning, monitoring, controlling, and closing of projects. There will be a special emphasis on project lifecycle, risk management, coordinating the delivery of products by individuals and teams, quality, and key stakeholder management.
What will I learn?
Introduction to Project Management:
- Examines what is a project, project management versus functional management, project lifecycle, organizational forms, methodologies, and related topics.
The Project Plan:
- Covers schedule, scope, cost, quality, ommunications, risk management and change management.
Project Management Tools:
- Covers WBS, Network, Gantt and other diagrams, PMBOK, Prince2 Practitioners Handbook, Risks and Issues logs, and MS Project Professional demonstration
