AFRICAN UNITY FESTIVAL

7:00 pm at the African American Museum

Our honored guests are guest speaker Connie Hamilton, Deputy Assistant–US Trade Representative for Africa, African ambassadors from Eritrea, Guinea, Morocco, Republic of Congo, Republic of Sudan, Nigeria (invited) and the Ghana Chief Deputy of Mission (invited).

There will be dishes from 5 African nations, plus the African Business Leadership and African Student Leadership awards, as well as a Parade Of Nations ceremony.

Please join us as we acknowledge the many cultural, civic and economic contributions Africans bring to enrich the lives of our citizens and to enhance the international image of our great city. Be with us as our African communities are recognized as an exciting part of the ethnic composition of the DFW metroplex.
