Please join us for the 5th Annual GO RUN! We are thrilled to announce that the 2011 event raised $63,000 for GYN Cancer Research at the USA Mitchell Cancer Institute!

Teams:   

Teams consist of 5 or more participants. Each individual on team must register and each team must submit a team application. (Team applications can be found by visiting: www.usamci.com/gorun) Awards will be given in various categories.                

Awards:           

5K : Top male and female Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters, and Racewalker.   Top three male and female in age groups: 9 and under,10 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 24,  25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 - 74 and 75 - 99.  FUN RUN: Top 3 Male and Female.  Award Ribbons will be given to all Fun Run Participants.

Shirts:             

Gender Specific Performance (tech/dri-fit)Shirt. Shirts tend to be form fitting. 

Youth Shirts will be cotton.

Post-Race:      

Vendors on location, Drawings for fantastic door prizes,GO Run Merchandise, music & children’s

activities.

Food & beverages will be provided before and after the race.

 ATTENTION:      Pre-Registered GO RUN Participants--- you may pick up your race bib, goody bag and shirt in

 the lobby of TRP Building 3 on USA's Campus on Friday, September 14th from  11:00 am to 6:30 pm. (USA

Development Office - where packet pick up was in 2011) ***YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR BIB, THEY

WILL NOT BE REISSUED***

If you do not get your packet early, you can pick it up at the Registration Tent on Saturday. The Registration Tent will be located on the Mitchell Center Lawn. Packets will be organized by last name.  Registration will begin at 6:30 am.

The race is at the Mitchell Center on USA's MAIN CAMPUS. Where the basketball games/concerts are held off Old Shell Road.  Registration/Festivities will be on the opposite side of the center where the Bronze Jaguar and Moulton Bell Tower are located.  

The race will begin at 8:00 am sharp. Please get there early. Line up will be on South Drive. You will have a short walk to the Start Line.

Strollers and regular walkers please go to the back of the Start Line.

No Dogs allowed!!!

We will have a MCI Merchandise Tent. We will have non-dated GO RUN shirts and white runner hats for sale for $10.00. GO Run car decals for $2.00 and memorial/honorary ribbons for $5.00.  CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED.

If you are a cancer patient/survivor your race packet will be marked. Please show it at the MCI Merchandise Tent for your complimentary purple GO RUN hat. Please wear it and show your support!

Dr. Carlo Contreras and his skin screening team will be there performing Skin Screenings. Please go by and get screened and get more info on skin cancers. 90% of skin cancers are curable if found early!

There will be an area with jumpys, sno-cones, face painting, GO RUN Tattoos, an art activity and lots of other fun stuff. You don't have to be a kid to enjoy the fun! As well as lots of vendors! I hope you will take the time to visit with them.
