The presentation will provide an overview of the Tablet computing-market, where the iPad has become Apple’s fastest product-category in history with 40m sold in 2011. It covers the emerging market-segments, business-models and technologies that the Tablet market is evolving towards and opportunities for OEMs and App Developers.

Winston Choe is currently the Business Development Director at the Intel Mobile and Communications Group where he manages development of key-customers, strategic-partners, venture-ecosystem and new market-development. His background covers 20 years in the Mobility, Communications, Software, and Services industries, where he has developed businesses at startup ventures and multinational-corporations across the US and Asia. Winston has founded three software ventures in business-networking, mobile cloud-computing and networked-multimedia, which he developed from concept to commercialization. Prior to joining Intel, he was the Founder/CEO at Confidantly, a business-networking software company where he established the team, completed product-development, and launched Beta services through online, social and affiliate-marketing. Previously, Winston has managed sales and business-development organizations in the HP Handheld, Nokia Mobility, Sun Consumer Mobile, and DEC Global Services groups where he managed carriers, strategic-partners, and new market-development.
