Anshin Rosalie Curtis and
Kyoshin Wendy Lewis Traditional Soto Zen meditation retreat includes oryoki meals, daily Dharma talks, sitting and walking meditation, and private interviews with senior teachers.
This three-day sitting will include a one-day sitting on Saturday, June 16. Participants may sign up for just the Saturday sitting.*
Those who require oryoki instruction should attend the Thursday evening, June 14, 5:00 pm portion of the orientation.Thursday, June 14: Evening orientation for sesshin Oryoki instruction 5:00 pm; dinner 6:30 pm; orientation for all participants 7:30 pm.
Fees for three-day sitting: $180; $162 current members; $144 limited income. The fee includes meals during the sitting.
Overnight accommodations: $25 per night shared room; $50 per night private room,
if available.

Registration, Scholarships, and Cancellations
Anshin Rosalie Curtis
Anshin Rosalie Curtis came to Zen Center for the first time on January 2, 1982 for a Saturday Dharma talk. She has held various staff and officer positions and was Zen Center's graphic designer for ten years in the 1990s. She completed her shuso training as a lay practitioner in 2004, was ordained as a priest a year later, and received Dharma transmission from Michael Wenger in 2011. Currently she is the tanto, head of practice, at City Center.
Kyoshin Wendy Lewis
Kyoshin Wendy Lewis has been practicing at Zen Center since 1987, including living for six years at Tassajara. She was ordained by Sojun Mel Weitsman in 1997. She has held senior staff positions at Tassajara and City Center, was Zen Center Secretary, and managed the City Center Bookstore. After serving as City Center director, she joined the Zen Center Programming Department and is now Web Editor.
