Miriam Akhtar MAPP & Bridget Grenville-Cleave MAPP are two of the UK’s first and most experienced positive psychology practitioners, graduates of the Masters of Applied Positive Psychology, devised by Professor Martin Seligman (author of Authentic Happiness, Learned Optimism & Flourish) to ‘make the world a happier place, parallel to the way clinical psychologists have made the world a less unhappy place.’ They’re sharing this practical science with an aim of increasing the tonnage of happiness on the planet.
This event takes place in the serene surroundings of the Engineer's House, Bristol, on the edge of Clifton Down. Price includes refreshments and buffet lunch.
Terms and Conditions
- Booking and Confirmation
i. Detailed joining instructions will be sent out prior to the Workshop by email.
ii. We reserve the right to refuse the booking of a participant.
- Rescheduling or Cancellation
i. The workshop requires a minimum number to be viable. We reserve the right to
cancel/postpone the date to ensure group size. In this event, or Workshop cancellation through other unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness) participants will be informed as soon as possible and offered an alternative Workshop place or full refund.
ii. In the event of the postponement or cancellation of a Workshop, we cannot be held responsible for non-refundable costs incurred such as travel and accommodation.
3. Pricing and Invoicing
i. The Workshop fee is payable in pounds Sterling. Fees include buffet lunch and refreshments
4. Cancellation, Transfer and Failure to Attend
i.Once a booking form has been submitted, any cancellation leaving an unfilled place (including non-attendance) will incur the full Workshop charge.
i.Participants bringing along valuables and personal property do so at their own risk and are responsible for their safety. We cannot be held liable for loss or damage to personal items.
ii.All travel and accommodation arrangements are the responsibility of participants. Workshop trainers cannot facilitate local transport or other arrangements.
