The ICEM CFD/AI*Environment training course is for users needing advanced meshing techniques for complex geometries. It is now geared to cover the pre-processing needs for all analytical applications including computational fluid dynamics, finite element (structural), electromagnetics and other simulation modeling.
Course Topics Include:
· Navigating within the Graphical User Interface
· Creating/manipulating geometry
· Importing CAD models
· Preparing model
· Tetra/hybrid meshing from original CAD and/or existing surface mesh
· Prism element extrusion for boundary layer mesh
· Hexa meshing for structured volume grids
· Creating connectors, welds
· Mesh editing/quality improvement
· Prescribing material properties, loads and constraints
· Hands on session using trainees' own geometries
Each course chapter is followed by "hands-on" workshops. Topics will be covered on an as needed basis.
