Length: 1 day
Price: 600.00
The Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) course covers the basics of coupling ANSYS Workbench and CFX together in a Multiphysics environment. The students will be taught the basics of the ANSYS Multifield solvers with special emphasis to the MFX Solver (External Multifield Solver) which is used to connect ANSYS with CFX. Methodologies of 1-way and 2-way data transfer will be discussed. The course covers both fluid-pressure and structure coupling as well fluid-thermal and structure coupling. Course material is augmented with hands on workshops to help reinforce topics covered in lectures. It is recommended that the student has a basic background in both CFX and as well as the ANSYS Workbench environment.
Course Topics:
ANSYS Multi-Field – ANSYS and CFX – MFS and MFX Solvers
ANSYS Multi-Field – ANSYS and CFX – MFX
Flow Through Three-Leaf Valve
The training course also includes “hands-on” workshops for the students to complete
