Been there, done that? The DC area has a lot of well-known bicycling trails and routes that are always enjoyable. However, if you find yourself repeating old experiences and looking for new ideas then this is your ride!  This ride will explore varied routes in and around the city. On the less-travelled paths, you will discover some of the key connections that avoid major roads in favor of more tranquil settings. We'll journey every corner of the city and beyond. Unless otherwise requested, this is guaranteed to be a new route and different adventure every time!

 

This is a beginner to intermediate level ride that will span 20-40 miles and will focus on seeking out the unfamiliar. The pace will be challenging but not stressful. No rider will be left behind. However, riders must be prepared to handle some traffic and be comfortable on the city roads. A road bike or performance hybrid (flat-bar road bike) will be most appropriate. Helmets will be required. Please bring water and an intrepid desire for exploration!
