Back by popular demand!! If you didn't have time to register last fall -- or if you did and were not able to complete the modules -- the members of SPLAT, the ICFL Special Projects Library Action Team, has refreshed its SPLAT 101 six-week course. Here is an opportunity to explore six technology-based resources that many of you have been meaning to explore, but haven’t carved out the time to do so yet. Register for this self-paced online course and explore these topics with others from around the state:
- Week 1 – Blogs
- Week 2 – RSS
- Week 3 – IM
- Week 4 – Online Applications
- Week 5 – Wikis
- Week 6 – Tagging
SPLAT team members are available to help if you get stuck during the six-week time frame. Schedule about one to two hours a week to complete each module, depending on your current knowledge level. Complete all six topics and the final evaluation and you’ll receive a nifty certificate of completion! Each Monday, you’ll get an e-mail notice of the week’s topic and information for how to participate. The first online session starts the week of March 16, 2009. Register today!
