This support clinic, sponsored by the SEAT Center, is designed to introduce participants to the basics of using creating talking books and interactive lessons in PowerPoint.

Creating an electronic talking book is fast and easy with PowerPoint.  Participants will learn to add images, sounds, text, narration, and action buttons to slides to create a talking book.  Talking books can be accessed by students who use a mouse, a touch monitor or a single switch. 

Creating an interactive activity such as a quiz can be done simply and easily in PowerPoint. Students can click quiz responses and be immediately reinforced for a correct answer or receive feedback for an incorrect response. Participants will learn to add a variety of content to slides, hyperlink slides, and customize the animation and actions of slide content.

This support clinic is only available to students enrolled in SED 379 and students, faculty,and staff at Illinois State University.
