Introduction to Islamic economic system and Islamic finance
The Believe Achieve Inspire Leadership Program is a unique initiative of the FAMSY in collaboration with VICTORIA University, providing a comprehensive leadership development course for future Muslim community leaders who seek to do great things in the community.
This will be the third session in the course and will be running on Saturday 3 March 2012.
It will provide a great oppertunity to increase you're knowledge in the below areas:
An overview of the Fundamentals of Islamic economic system
An introduction to Islamic finance and current trends
Definition of Riba
An introduction to project budgeting and cashflow planning

Advisory Board Member for the Master of Islamic Banking and Finance Course at La Trobe University.
Most recently advised the Securities & Investments Institute Asia-Pacific (SiiA) in the area of Sukuk and Islamic capital markets.
MBA from Deakin University and Master of Islamic Banking and Finance degree from La Trobe University for which I was awarded the Dean's Commendation for Academic Excellence and Logie-Smith Lanyon Lawyers Prize for the Top Student (overall) in the Master of Islamic Banking and Finance program.
Instructor and course coordinator for the Islamic Finance Professional Development (IFPD) Course which is run by La Trobe University in partnership with Ethica Institute of Islamic Finance (Dubai).
