You know that Nissa loves to experiment and this class is no exception, so get ready for one of her biggest menus yet! Nissa will begin with the basics of classic fried chicken and then move into some of the avant garde experimentation that she's famous for. You'll learn how to brine and season to bring out the most flavor. You'll deep fry as well as pan fry and discover which method is best for which recipes. She'll also introduce you to some exciting new flavor combinations concocted from the local, spring-time bounty. As always, her alchemy will result in a spread of deliciously unique recipes using techniques new and old - even "Shake & Bake" makes a comeback! (Oh yeah, baby!) This class will teach you everything you need to make the crispiest, crunchiest, tastiest fried chicken possible. Some of it may seem weird at first but, if you know Nissa, you know you're in for a big treat.
