Peter Locke has 24 years of broad experience in analyzing, structuring and executing complex transactions.

Prior to joining Spectrum Group Management, NY in 2005, Mr. Locke spent six years at Blackacre Capital Management, LLC, the real estate arm of Cerberus Capital, a $14 billion hedge fund. At Blackacre, Mr. Locke invested directly and indirectly in real estate equity, debt and operating businesses.

Prior to joining Blackacre, Mr. Locke spent five years with Credit Suisse First Boston in its Real Estate Products Group/Principal Transaction Group where he was a Vice President. At CSFB, Mr. Locke was responsible for identifying, underwriting, structuring and negotiating floating, fixed, and mezzanine loans, forward loan commitments, and joint venture equity investments. Also, while there, Mr. Locke managed the acquisition and securitization of performing and sub-performing commercial mortgage loans. From 1988 to 1992 Mr. Locke was Senior Analyst with Chesterton International, Inc., a UK based real estate company. There he was responsible for advising corporate and private clients in acquisition, disposition, leasing and valuation of real estate assets.

Mr. Locke holds a BS from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
