At 6:30 PM on Tuesday, February 28th at Geekdom Jason Cronkhite will be sharing the Kulabyte story from startup to acquisition.  From late 2005 to early 2011, Jason helped build the live video encoding software company that experienced many ups/downs and 3 major business model pivots prior to the company's strategic acquisition by Haivision Video Networks.

A great deal was learned in the process and especially how valuable the Lean Startup methodology can be to a company that is searching for product market fit.  Unfortunately, customers and the company's own aspirations led them down some difficult stretches.  

"We did not know what Lean Startup or Customer Development was until about mid 2009.  Fortunately for us, we found Lean and began to implement the methodology chunks at a time.

Then, we began to really understand the critical pain points in our market and were able to build a solution that propelled the company forward," said Jason.
