The first international conference focused totally on the topic of childhood obesity will be held at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Campus and Lowe’s Motor Speedway conducted this summer, July 28-30, 2009. International and national speakers will be presenting, in addition to schools, health organizations, etc., on the successes they have had in dealing with childhood obesity programs. The theme of the conference is “Racing Against Childhood Obesity” and is being sponsored by several organizations.
