Event Details

The first international conference focused totally on the topic of childhood obesity will be held at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Campus and Lowe’s Motor Speedway conducted this summer, July 28-30, 2009. International and national speakers will be presenting, in addition to schools, health organizations, etc., on the successes they have had in dealing with childhood obesity programs. The theme of the conference is Racing Against Childhood Obesity and is being sponsored by several organizations.

Package Includes:

• Suite Room – Single or Double Occupancy same price. Each room has two doubles or full AND a pullout sleeper sofa.

• Full Service Breakfast with Omelet Bar, Fresh Fruit, etc. (Normally $15 per person). The resort has won awards for their breakfast program.

• Manager’s Reception each evening (Normally $15 per person). Two free drinks of choice, includes wine, beer, liquor or a smoothie.

• Resort also has a beautiful golf course and first-class spa.

• Hertz Car Rental is located in hotel. They do not provide an airport shuttle.

• They also have full-service restaurants and a sports bar.
