Event Details

Given the current trends for evidence based approaches to interventions and treatments, basic research skills will enable practitioners to develop objective ways to assess both their theoretical approaches and their interventions.

This course is aimed at counsellors and psychotherapists and will cover the development of methods for identifying, measuring and assessing the effects of therapeutic interventions and will enable practitioners to become familiar with some of the methods used to objectively evaluate psychological theories and theories of therapeutic change. Participants will also learn how to access research databases and present their research in ways that are readily accessible to others.

Come and join us for a stimulating and fun day that will give you some practical tools about research

The course will be held at The Link Centre training Rooms, Headway House, Jackies Lane, Newick, Sussex, BN8 4QX

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
