Q. I've never been to the St. Louis Microfest before. What do I get for my admission?
A. Your admission to a session of the Microfest includes a tasting glass - which allows you to sample a variety of beers from over 60 breweries -international and craft beers on Friday and Saturday evening , and craft beers only on Saturday afternoon - while listenening to music by popular groups. You can also see cooking demonstrations and brewing discussions in our Demonstration Tent. There will be a variety of items to bid on at the Silent Auction booth.
For non-drinkers,there will be a Craft Soda Booth with specialty root beers, ginger ales and birch beers for you to purchase.
At each session, for an extra fee, you can purchase a VIP admission, which gives you access to our Boulevard Brewing Company / Iron Barley VIP Experience which entitles you to many exclusive items. See ticket description for details.
Q. What's in the VIP area?
Welcome to the VIP Experience. In addition to all you get with the regular admission, your VIP Experience on Friday and Saturday evening sessions includes a trip to a culinary adventure with masterpieces prepared by Chef Tom Coghill of the infamous Iron Barley Restaurant, as seen on Man VS Food and Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Two trips to this magnificent buffet will leave you with a smile on your face. You will be presented with a ticket for a collectible pilsner glass There are specialty beers that are only available in the VIP Experience. Under the cover of a tent, you can sample, drink and engage in the fun of the VIP Experience.
Q. I see that there are three different Microfest sessions. Will there be different offerings for each?
A. The St. Louis Microfest is a two-day event. Friday and Saturday evening sessions will have craft and international beers while Saturday afternoon will offer craft beers only. For an additional charge, the VIP Experience offers exclusive beers , as well as food that is not available outside of the VIP Experience tent.
There will be a demonstration tent showcasing food and beer pairings. A variety of music will entertain you throughout the festival at all sessions.
A variety of foods from vendors will be available for purchase.
