Richard Pepperman and Bobbie O’Steen
Monday March 30th 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Bobbie O’Steen, Film editor / author of “Cut to the Chase” and “The
Invisible Cut”, and Richard D. Pepperman, recipient of the Distinguished
Artist-Teacher award from the School of Visual Arts and author of “The Eye is
Quicker”; “Setting Up Your Scenes” and “Film School”, will co-present a seminar
on the director/editor collaboration in the search for story form and essence.
Topics will include: Finding Solutions to Ever-Emerging Problems and
Understanding an Actor’s Performance. Selected scenes will be screened from: The
Graduate; Body Heat; Rosemary’s Baby and Breaker
Morant.
Bobbie and Richard will happily answer questions and
sign their books.
