Implementing Social Emotional Learning:

Six Seconds' Toolkit

What are the core tools and practices for making social emotional learning effective?

There is growing interest in the US and internationally in social emotional learning — the process of teaching the skills of emotional intelligence.  It turns out that children who develop these skills do better academically and socially, and have fewer behavior problems.

In this free webinar, you will learn...

  • How can the Six Seconds Model and resources be used to work with students, teachers, schools, and communities?
  • What tools, resources, and assessments are available?
  • Models and Tools that activate meaningful learning experiences.

We will explore lessons from Self-Science, Choose to Change, Feeling Smart and games designed to activate learning and develop skills like emotional literacy, navigating emotions, and optimism.

Come learn, engage in lessons and resources, and enjoy!
