Prior to joining Accordus, he served as chairman of Confer Software, a developer of e-Business Process Management software, where he led the company through its successful merger with Quovadx (NASDAQ:QVDX) in June 2001. Prior to Confer, Mr. Kleinfeld served as president and CEO of Eloquent, Inc. (NASDAQ:ELOQ), the leading provider of rich media business communications solutions. While at Eloquent, he attracted an experienced management team, implemented a high-growth strategy and guided the company through its successful $83 million IPO in February 2000. Before Eloquent, Mr. Kleinfeld served as senior vice president of marketing and vice president of North American sales at Open Text Corporation (NASDAQ:OTEX), the leading provider of collaborative commerce applications. Mr. Kleinfeld was also a co-founder of Odesta Systems Corporation where he played a key role in building the company from a startup in 1991 through its merger with Open Text Corporation in 1995 and successful IPO in 1996. During his career, Mr. Kleinfeld has also held marketing and sales management positions with Oracle Corp., Computer Consoles, Inc. and Wang Laboratories.
