There are four ways to be involved in the summit:

• Attend the summit in person -- $250 regular and $100 student plus HST
• Organize your own satellite location at your institution --$200 per location plus
  HST (includes facilitation training kit)
• Participate via webcast -- $100 plus HST
• Attend via satellite location -- $75 per person

Satellite Locations
Currently, there are 2 satellite locations that you can participate in. In Toronto, it will be at the North York Central Library between 12 am - 8pm EST, and in Montreal at the Grande Bibliothèque between 12 noon - 8pm EST. The cost is $75 per person.

TD National Reading Summit III marks the culmination of several years of discussion

and research on how to make reading a national priority for Canada. We will commence

with an exciting evening keynote speaker. Attendees will then have two days to review a

draft reading plan and participate in facilitated group discussions to formulate a reading

plan for Canada. Throughout the summit dynamic speakers and panel discussions will

provide food for thought.

Work has begun to promote the campaign across every possible platform and media.

Details will be unveiled at the Summit.

With your involvement reading will become a central feature of 21^st century Canadian

citizenship.

Le 3^e Sommet sur la lecture TD marque la culmination de plusieurs années de discussion et de recherche sur les moyens à prendre pour faire de la lecture une priorité nationale pour le Canada. Un conférencier d’honneur donnera le ton à la soirée d’inauguration. Les participants consacreront les deux jours suivants à l’examen de l’ébauche d’un plan sur la lecture et à des discussions de groupe facilitées en vue d’élaborer un plan sur la lecture pour le Canada. Durant tout le sommet, des conférenciers dynamiques et des discussions de groupe fourniront la matière à réflexion. On a déjà commencé à promouvoir la campagne sur toutes les plates-formes et dans tous les médias possibles. Les détails seront communiqués au Sommet. 

Grâce à votre participation, la lecture deviendra une caractéristique fondamentale de la citoyenneté canadienne du 21e siècle.
