The newly-formed Asian Health Care Leaders Association is proud to debut its first-ever conference in Chicago on November 16-17, 2009, at the Hyatt Regency. For those new to the organization, AHCLA is a membership and leadership organization devoted to increasing the representation and professional development of Asian-Americans in healthcare executive management, policy, and administration, as well as helping healthcare professionals work to understand how to improve the health and wellness of the Asian American patient population. AHCLA membership is free and focuses on networking, mentoring and education, which are essential in today's challenging times. This inaugural meeting is a unique and exciting opportunity to connect with healthcare executives and key members of the national Asian healthcare community. One of the highlights of the conference features Linda Yu, one of Chicago's most respected and well-known broadcasters, who will moderate the Gala Event honoring Fawn Lopez, Publisher of Modern Healthcare Magazine. In addition, the conference is specifically designed for the spectrum of healthcare leaders, from students to senior level executives.
