Have you always thought about serving abroad? The Peace Corps is pleased to present a special Peace Corps information session!
The information session will highlight work assignments, regions where volunteers serve, as well as the life-changing experience of serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Information about the application process, eligibility requirements, geographic placement, and benefits is also covered.
Peace Corps benefits include medical, dental and housing, as well as a monthly stipend, transportation to and from your host country, graduate study benefits, 24 vacation days a year, and a $7,425.00 readjustment allowance after your 2-year service. Some student loans can be deferred during Peace Corps service. After your 2-year service, former Volunteers receive one year of noncompetitive eligibility for employment in the federal government.
