Event Details

Many of the weeds we pull out of our gardens are good to eat. Herbalist Danette Steele will teach us about the ultimate in local and sustainable food. Participants will learn what types of weeds are edible on this weed walk, which takes us through Ben Nobleman Park and the Cedarvale Ravine. Following the walk, we will have a weed tasting at our harvest table. Class limited to 20 students. Register early to guarantee your spot. For details on how to register by cheque, please e-mail Lynn at growingforgreen@gmail.com. For updates on our workshops and events send a blank email to communityorchard-subscribe@mylists.ca.
