Guess what we’ll focus on for the giant robot week?.. you got it - giant robots!  We’ll be building big robots, making big robot costumes, and collaborating on constructing some giant robots!  We’ll start off the week by learning such fundamentals as how to take materials apart (loosen screws, strip wire) put materials together (screw, tape, nut).  We’ll then use these skills to put together some basic robots that work on principles like vibration, and then launch into making big, cardboard robots that work off of these same principles.  Finally, we’ll deck out the robots with arts and crafts materials, as well as with electronic accessories that we make.
