OYLA/OLOA Youth Officiating Training Course

This training is a prerequisite for all officials who are pursuing a Level 1 certification for the 2012 season.
Walk-up registrations will only be accommodated as space allows. No walk-ups will be allowed in excess of the designated event capacity. Walk-ups will incur an additional processing fee ($30 total).
Attendees will receive:
- National rulebook, as well as OYLA specific ruleset
- Official Referee Shirt
- Whistle
- Flag
The curriculum will include OYLA/US Lacrosse rules, on field practicum, and certification.
OYLA Referee certification process:
If you are interested in becoming a Youth Official there is a two step process to your first level of certification (L1) :
1) Register and attend a referee clinic;
2) Complete the L1 online test.
Returning L1 Youth Officials:
1) Register and attend a referee clinic;
2) Complete the L1 online test.
Returning Officials who intend to advance to L2 status:
Confirm that your assignor/coach has nominated you for L2 status
1) Register and attend an L2 referee clinic;
2) You will be expected to lead small group during the practicum portion of the clinic.
