Join the Children’s Nature Institute and Faith2Green for kids ROCK, an outdoor family concert, picnic dinner, and CNI Nature Fair, promising to be an early evening of great music, good food, and hands-on eco-activity at the historic Old Zoo picnic area at Griffith Park.

Performing kids music that the whole family can enjoy, we are pleased to welcome critically acclaimed singer Tom Freund, performing songs from his children’s album, "Hug Trees."
With “Hug Trees” Tom brings his organic jazz and rootsy vibe to kids for the first time. “Hug Trees,” is an eco-friendly collection of songs, each of which focuses on getting children involved with their enviroment and enjoying nature. Whether gathering seashells, walking the dog or hugging a tree, Freund urges kids to get outside and keep it moving.
