BPA MEMBER INCENTIVES

BPA members (all categories) who are currently active for 2012 (dues paid) are entitled to enter the following contest:

1.  Any BPA member who refers the most registrants to the spring conference at Howard University in Washington, DC will win FREE registration to the 2012 Transcultural Psychiatry Conference in Montego Bay, Jamaica from November 8 -12, 2012

2.  Any BPA member who sells the most tickets to the Legacy Awards Reception at the Capital Hill Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC will also win FREE registration to the 2012 Transcultural Psychiatry Conference in Montego Bay, Jamaica from November 8-12, 2012

 

GENERAL INCENTIVES:

1.  Any person or persons who make a minimum of $100 donation to the BPA will automatically be listed in the official program booklet

2.  Any person making a donation of between $100 - $199 will be entered into a raffle to win a one week vacation at the BPA Timeshare in Hilton Head,SC

3.  Persons making a donation of $200 and above will be entered into a raffle to win roundtrip airline tickets to anywhere that Southwest Airlines flies

 

PARTICIPATING SPONSORS:

1.  All sponsors receive priority seating at the Awards Reception and the Spring Conference

2.  Sponsors for the spring conference and awards reception receive complimentary automatic year long marketing opportunities at all BPA events including:  July Forum on Capitol Hill and the November Transcultural Psychiatry Conference in November.

The Black Psychiatrists of America, Inc. was created in 1969 to address the mental health concerns of underserved populations in the United States of America with special empasis on those of African descent.  Since its inception, the professional medical association has become an advocate for various underrepresented populations regadless of ethnicity, religion, culture and gender.  BPA, Inc has members in the mental health professionals from the United States of America, the Caribbean, South America and Africa with a host of educational and cultural exchanges worldwide that are relevant to meeting the service needs of disenfranchised groups globally.
