Records Managers and the Challenges of the Integrated Information

Lifecycle Management Model

Don Lueders, CRM, CDIA

Time:  Networking – 6:00 PM, Dinner – 6:30 PM, Presentation – 7:30 PM

Location: Far East Restaurant, 5055 Nicholson Lane, Rockville, MD 20852, 301-881-5552

Program: The explosive growth of information in the last two decades has been accompanied by an equally explosive expansion of the role of today’s Records Managers.  In order to help our organizations find their way out of the information chaos, Records Managers must take control of the entire lifecycle of all of their organization’s content - from creation to final disposition.  Don Lueders, CRM, CDIA, will describe the Integrated Information Lifecycle Management (IILM) model, how it can be used to manage your organization’s unstructured content lifecycle and some of the challenges it poses to records and information management professionals.

Speaker:  Don is a Certified Records Manager (CRM) and a Certified Document and Imaging Architect (CDIA) with over 20 years of Enterprise Content and Records Management (ECRM) experience. Don is Director of Compliance Products at GimmalSoft, the provider of market leading content governance and compliant records solutions built on SharePoint.   Don is also the owner and author of the internationally recognized independent blog, SharepointRecordsManagement.com, and is widely regarded as one of the ECRM industry's preeminent thought leaders on SharePoint records and information management.

Menu:  Dinner is buffet style with a variety of dishes.  Cash Bar will be available.

Reservations:  Please RSVP by 5 PM Tuesday, February 7, 2012, by responding to your on-line invitation or by visiting the registration page at http://www.eventbrite.com/event/2821983629.  No-shows and cancellations after Tuesday, February 7, 5:00 PM will be billed.
