Clinic - How Low Can You Go (Skill Levels 3 & 4)

Objectives: The EWGA has designed skills based education programs to target the needs of different groups of golfers: “How Low Can You Go" is focused on teh group of golfers who can break 100 and now are striving to score better than bogey on a regular basis.

(This clinic has a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20--sign up today to reserve your spot).

The “How Low Can You Go” clinic includes the following:

• Keys to Consistency II
• addresses pre-swing fundamentals that give the student the best possible chance of making a consistent swing
• Equipment Can Work For You
• helps students understand the basics of choosing clubs that will work best for them and how to choose the right set of clubs for your bag so you have the clubs you need for each shot on the course.
• Self Assessment & Goal Setting
• intended to help students understand the basics of keeping statistics, assessing their game and improvement needs, setting goals and breaking those goals into actionable steps
• Managing Challenging Lies & Conditions
• helps students understand the techniques for hitting from a variety of different lies and conditions between the tee and the green. Topics include hitting from uphill, downhill and sidehill lies, assessing lies in the rough and choosing the appropriate shot and club, and techniques for playing in wet or windy conditions
• Strategies for Getting Up & Down
• provides students with information to help them make better choices for getting up and down from around the green. This includes reviewing pitching and chipping techniques and discussing how to make shot and club choices from a variety of different circumstances around the green
• Be a Great Short Putter
• focuses on the skills and techniques to improve short putting (inside 15 feet). Topics include alignment, “trust”, and drills and practice techniques to improve short putting
