The AAA's first new building lunchtime tour for 2009 is of One Shelley Street which has been awarded the highest 6-star rating for its ESD design.
Fitzpatrick + Partners Architects designed a striking external diagonal steel grid structural system which captures the eyes of everyone passing by. This structure eliminates the need for perimeter columns and maximizes the flexibility of fit-out design.
James Fitzpatrick, Principal, Fitzpatrick + Partners and Mark Flanagan of Brookfield Multiplex will lead this tour of the soon to be completed building and will explain the design concept and the ESD measures thoughtfully incorporated.
