Innovation, productivity, flexibility, and continuous improvement are key ingredients to success in the constantly evolving world of manufacturing. At this conference experts and dynamic presenters from leading bay area companies will address manufacturing or product development advancements and challenges. The goal is to make engineers, companies, educators and others more successful in their quest for competitive advantage.

Global Manufacturing – This will focus on how products are and will be manufactured in our global society. There are 2 speakers planned for this morning session. One will present information from the large Corporate point of view and the third will present information from the global manufacturing data point of view.

Lean Manufacturing – Focus will be on the concepts and principals of Lean Manufacturing and how it is and can be applied in our current and future economies, both locally and globally. Four speakers will be contributing to this track in a mid-day timeframe.

Nanotechnology – This is a key growth industry in our local economy and the focus will be on actual commercial applications and how they are brought to market.
