The Tampa Bay CDT Prep Class will be taught at the USF College of Architecture on Maple Drive, on Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm, beginning on Wednesday, January 16th, 2012, in Room 208. The College of Architecture is located (West) directly across from the USF Sun Dome; there is a charge for parking on campus. Parking passes may be obtained from the security office located near the Fletcher Entrance to the USF Campus.

The cost for the class is $125 for non-CSI members, and $100 for CSI Members. The course will be taught by several Tampa Bay local professionals (volunteers), with CCCA and CCS certifications, as well recently CDT Certified professionals. The course is based on the new CSI-PDPG-Project Delivery Practice Guide, and will include (12) twelve sessions. (There will be a one week break during USF’s Spring Break.) This is the 7th year that Tampa Bay has conducted the CDT Prep Class, with several successful CDT candidates.

The cost of the class does not include the exam registration or the Practice Guide. CDT Candidates are encouraged to obtain a copy & read the AIA-A201 General Conditions, obtain a free copy of the CDT Study Guide & Addendum from the CSI-Institute webpage, located under the “Certification/CDT/Exam Prep” tabs, and become familiar with the CDT exam requirements. 

Payment and registration may be made below, or checks may be brought to the first class made out to “CSI-Tampa Bay”, with a reference to the CDT-2012 Prep Class.

Self Study for the CDT exam is an option for all candidates, however due to the complexity of the exam questions and the amount information to be covered, a CDT Prep Class is highly recommended. The CDT Prep Class requires a minimum of 2-3 hours of outside class work per week, to properly prepare for the CDT Exam.
