JCI World President 2012: Bertolt Daems
Meet the world president, hear about his plans for the year 2012 and don't forget to ask the things that you always wanted to know about JCI.
Born January 3, 1973, in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, Bertolt Daems holds a master’s degree in building construction and works as the CEO of RnR group, a management consultancy company. He resides in Wageningen, The Netherlands, with his wife Veronique, their twin sons Rutger and Rogier and their daughter Fabienne.
Daems joined JCI Mariken in November 2003. He became Local President in 2005 and Deputy National President in 2008. In 2008 he also served as JCI the Netherlands National President.
At the international level, Bertolt Daems served as JCI Vice President in 2009, JCI Executive Vice President assigned to Europe in 2010 and was appointed Chief Executive Assistant to the President in 2011. He has attended twelve JCI Area Conferences and three JCI World Congresses. He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 68118. He speaks English, German and Dutch.
The meet and mingle takes place place at The Mug House, a traditional, yet quirky pub underneath London Bridge within seconds of the station. An area is reserved for us.
