Louisville's First Feb Club Emeritus Event!
Pizza. Beer. Wooden booths. Camaraderie. Glasses that are
(hopefully...) wide enough to accept a bounding quarter...Feeling
nostalgic yet? As one local alum put it, "nothing beat a New Haven
winter like some time at Naples." Let's attempt to relive our glory
days, meet up with old friends and find new ones! Please come join us
at what is sure to be the start of something good.
We're hosting this Feb Club Louisville event at:

Not Sure about this "Feb Club" thing...?
I've been asked to provide a little info on Feb Club for those who
attended Yale before it began. Some seniors (they must have pretty
cool) decided that it'd be a great way to get through the grey and
wintry month of February by throwing a party on campus every night of
the month. The idea stuck. We’ll attempt to relive this glory, for
just one night, as part of a month of parties held by Yale alumni all
over the world!
More Detail: Ancient History
Legend has it that Feb Club started in the ‘70s, that it ended in the
late ‘90s and that it was resurrected in 2006. Each year, a student,
group of students or organization would be handed down the solemn task
of organizing 28 (29) parties around the Yale campus, and spreading
the word among the student population. In the early days, there was
no e-mail, no web pages, no Facebook.... so word of the parties, their
locations, hosts and themes were truly spread by word of mouth. Feb
Club parties ranged from simple get-togethers in a dorm room to
elaborate choreographed affairs involving multiple hosts and
locations. In 1987, for example, parties ranged from 18 holes at
Timothy Dwight College (i.e. 18 rooms, 18 themes), to a highfalutin
affair at the Yale Yacht Club, to Valentine's Day red “special” jello
at Zeta Psi, to a Manhattan road trip, to the annual upside-down
kamakaze tradition at Morse College...more details here:
