Multi-platinum singer/songwriter Jana Stanfield and local jazz legend The Freddie Jones Band launch a new concert series.

Jana describes her music as “psychotherapy you can dance to.” With soaring vocals, acoustic arrangements, and meaningful lyrics, Jana Stanfield says that her goal is to use her music to give people a “faith-lift.” Her fans say the music is the ideal alternative to Prozac…all the mood elevation with none of the water retention.

Her music has been featured on shows like 20/20, Entertainment Tonight, The Oprah Winfrey Show, the movie 8 Seconds and radio stations nationwide. Her compositions are sung by entertainment greats like Reba McEntire, Andy Williams and others. Jana has shared the stage with performers like Kenny Loggins and The Dixie Chicks.

Freddie Jones is a composer, producer and trumpeter and an adjunct professor at Brookhaven College in Dallas. He and his band headline hot spots throughout the Southwest, including Fort Worth's Caravan of Dreams, Austin's Elephant Room and Little Rock's Riverfront Auditorium. He shares the stage with such greats as David Sanborn, Freddie Hubbard, Chuck Magione, George Benson and Najee.

Freddie’s great talent — bred from his musical roots in Memphis, his jazz studies degree from the University of North Texas, and his passion for playing — has earned him a devoted following in contemporary jazz circles.
