ACLS Instructor CourseParticipants are expected to know ACLS prior to the course. This course focuses on teaching the ACLS course. ACLS skills testing and a written test will be given at the beginning of the course. At the conclusion of the course, instructor candidates will be able to demonstrate te following knowledge and skills:
- How to make effective presentations of ACLS information and materials
- How to function as the leader and participant in all components of an ACLS provider course
- Setting up an dusing the educational presentation tools
- How to create, present, and lead the ACLS teaching modules
- An understanding of the educational philosophy of the ACLS program
Course Prerequisites include: A current BLS for Health Care Providers card and a current ACLS provider certification.
