Mark Conner, a consultant and investment professional of twenty-six years, will explain how corporate treasurers can gain the necessary skills for more effective and safer investment of their companies - cash.

Recent settlements among broker/dealers and various authorities concerning auction rate securities reveal that many consider corporations to be "institutional" investors. Though this is a mistaken characterization, corporate cash investors nevertheless do need to rise to this standard if they are to be successful in effectively and safely investing corporate cash.
