Seduce Your Palate at... POP!!

Come experience the exclusive sampling menu Chef Clark Knutson has created for Sample Circuit, indulge in wine samplings, marvel at Ketel One Vodka mixology and don't forget to take home our gourmet goodie bag.

With it's sleek interior, 60's- inspired decor and tasteful pop art, POP!! fits right into the ever growing eclectic food scene. Stylish diners mingle, soaking up funky, low lighting and promising aromas from the kitchen.

Here is what Rick Nelson of Star Tribune has to say...

'Plenty of good flavors'

At its best, the cooking is lively and uncomplicated, with lots of Latin accents (Clark is the chef in the family). Don't miss the comfort-minded croquettes, crispy little blobs of mashed potatoes flecked with ham and manchego. A trio of soft tacos gets a light touch: gently grilled mahi mahi, black beans and thick chunks of avocado. Dainty empanadas are stuffed with nicely seasoned ground beef. There's a well-stocked antipasti plate that's half the cost of comparable nibbles elsewhere. A saffron-scented stew, brimming with shrimp chorizo and pearl millet, makes for a hearty cold-weather meal. Ditto the as-good-as-your-grandmother's meatballs, a whopper of a plate loaded down with all the right extras, including creamy mashed potatoes and tangy pickled cucumbers.

Speaking of whoppers, Knutson puts out a doozy of a burger, serving it either straight up with Cheddar and sweet, slow-grilled onions or layered with a thin slice of ham and roasted tomatoes and finished with a fat swipe of paprika-laced aioli; both are served with a Sasquatch-size handful of terrific French fries. His pulled pork sandwich is another marvel, with a crunchy slaw crowning a veritable mountain of succulent, liberally sauced pork. A pair of single-serving pizzas are also a pleasure. Other highlights include an excellent tuna burger and a decent rendition of the classic Cubano sandwich.
