Event Details

-Learn how to begin and sustain a daily meditation practice. This half-day workshop introduces sitting and walking meditation and Tibetan chanting.


Cost: $45. Instructor: Ken McKeon. Gourmet Vegetarian lunch included.

Weekend workshops offer fresh insights in a gentle, meditative atmosphere. Unless otherwise noted, Saturday workshops begin at 10 AM and conclude at 4:45 PM (this workshop ends at 1 PM) and include a vegetarian buffet lunch. Workshop participants may arrange to stay overnight at the Institute for an additional $40 per night. If no prerequisite is listed, then the workshop is open to students at all levels of experience.

The Tibetan Nyingma Institute was founded by Tibetan Lama Tarthang Tulku.

The Tibetan Nyingma Institute offers programs in eight fields of study: Buddhist Studies; Nyingma Psychology; Nyingma Meditation; Knowledge of Freedom; Time, Space, & Knowledge; Kum Nye (Tibetan Yoga), Skillful Means; and Tibetan Language

No religious commitment is required to participate at the Nyingma Institute. Introductory and advanced programs are available in the eight fields.
