Are you confused by all the eReader devices on the market today? Are you often asked which eReader you would recommend to a friend or which eReader to submit your eBooks?

The eReader device market has taken off in the past 3 to 6 months with so many devices that it is difficult to understand the differences between each device and which device is appropriate for your publishing content. Once you determine which devices are appropriate for your content, it is extremely challenging to navigate the process, file formats, etc. to get your eBooks to the appropriate vendor.

Come learn more from two local industry experts, Dan Wallek and Erik Christopher, about the features, benefits, and differences of the leading eReader devices in the market today and the challenges of getting error-free eBook files approved and submitted to the various distribution channels.

Dan Wallek is the Sr. Director, Digital Product Management at Lerner Publishing Group where he is responsible for developing and executing a digital content product strategy which leverages Lerner's content assets from printed children’s books to create new revenue opportunities for the education/library markets.

Erik Christopher is a seasoned digital publishing and information services professional with over a decade of experience in developing, launching, commercializing, selling and managing print and electronic solutions and service offerings for the academic library, K-12, corporate library and public library market sectors. He is also a contributing analyst with GigaOM and co-founder of the MN Pub Tweetup group.  Erik is also the owner of Ugly Dog Digital, a Digital Workshop for production of digital content including eBooks and apps and works with distribution into the various eRetail channels for digital content.
