Please note that from January 2013 children will be able to have a one-off trial class for £4.00 to see whether they wish to take a 6 week course. You will pay for 5 lessons and receive one free under our discount scheme. After the first trial lesson, class members must purchase a discount card at a cost of £20.00. There is no expiry date as I understand that children cannot attend from time to time, however it is recommended that children attend in 6 week blocks.
I am currently accepting the vouchers in the Gazette £10 for 6 lessons (one per child).
Taught by Amie King, Zumbatomic is the infectious latin inspired dance party workout especially designed for children. The 7 - 11 year age group will learn lots of choreographed songs, play games and have lots of fun. The moves are broken down so that the children can learn them. There are crazy fun dances which include popular favourites such as Zumba Mami and Walk the Dinosaur. Each class is like a mini-party - suitable for both boys and girls.
You need to complete a Zumbatomic Registration Form for your child, which means that we will hold a contact number for you and details regarding your child's health so that we can contact you in an emergency. You will be asked to do this at the first lesson, please arrive a few minutes early to complete this.
Children must wear comfortable clothes such as leggings or shorts and a cotton t-shirt (no jeans please) along with flat trainers. Children MUST also bring a drink with them. We ask that children are taken to the toilet before the class begins and that parents/carers please leave the children with us as children find it distracting when parents stay. At the end of each term we may from time to time organise a special class where the children will perform some of their favourite songs for the parents at the end of the class.
