Rails For Beginners is the natural follow-up to our popular Learn To Program With Ruby course! This is a Rails class appropriate for beginners who know basic Ruby, or junior-to-intermediate programmers coming from other languages or frameworks (or from a focus on the front-end).

In this class, you will learn to build and deploy a Rails application from scratch. You will learn common patterns of Rails application development, focusing on the model-view-controller pattern, which is core to the Rails framework.

Kids are welcome as students! However, if they are 12 or under, they must bring a grown-up.

About the teachers: Mason Glaves is an experienced Rails developer at Blazing Cloud. Judy Tuan leads a Rails study group and loves learning and teaching.
